Working in Administration allows me to engage with all members of the school community in a wide variety of ways. Being part of the educational journey for students and their families is a privilage and rewarding opportunity. It is a privilege to work alongside the Preps as they begin their learning journeys. It’s always my aim to help the boys and girls discover their ‘lightbulb moments’ in a way that best suits them. It is especially rewarding to be a teacher in Prep as it is a year of such enormous growth. We set high expectations, but at the same time, make learning fun. At WNPS, we’re focused on building happy and resilient kids, ready for the challenges of school and life beyond.

I love teaching Prep at Wandin North Primary School and sharing in the excitement of our students as they learn and grow. I aim for my classroom to be a fun, hands-on, and engaging environment where children feel supported and confident. In Prep, we value strong relationships with families and work closely together to ensure every child reaches their full potential.

It is a privilege teaching Prep at Wandin North Primary School. Sharing in the learning journey of every student is not only a rewarding experience but heartwarming to witness. I believe in creating an environment that promotes inclusivity, a classroom where students feel safe to be themselves, know they are loved and valued. With Prep the beginning of a student’s schooling journey, I am passionate about creating strong, collaborative connections with students and their families, developing a supportive relationship that will exist throughout a child’s whole primary schooling.

My job as a 1/2 teacher helps me to find the fun in every day. Our 1/2 students are a smiley bunch who bounce into the classroom ready to learn. In the classroom we provide interactive and supportive learning environments through hands-on learning experiences. I build relationships with my students based on shared interests and common ground as it is important to me that my students feel a part of the class as a whole, and are invested in their own learning. Outside of school, I live on a small acreage farm and enjoy adding to my growing tally of animals.

Teaching 1/2 at Wandin North is full of excitement! I love seeing the students building their confidence and independence each day. I am passionate about creating strong relationships with students and families to allow students to achieve their very best. I create a fun, safe and inclusive learning environment where all are welcome. It is a privilege to spend many moments laughing and smiling with such curious students!!

I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of a close-knit school community where everyone works together to help each child reach their full potential. Every day, I’m inspired by our students’ curious minds, kind hearts, and bright, beautiful smiles. It’s a joy to guide them as they learn, grow, and develop into confident, lifelong learners.

Teaching ¾ at Wandin North has always been a delight! We are lucky to have such wonderful, kind and resilient students who make the days even more enjoyable. I love being in the classroom and developing strong relationships with students, hearing them share their thoughts and watching them grow throughout the year in both their learning and in themselves as people!

Teaching Grade 3/4 students is a privilege and a very rewarding experience. Everyday students amaze me with their creative thinking. I love watching the students’ independence blossom in 3/4 and seeing their growth both academically and within themselves, is amazing. They show kindness towards one another and themselves, creating a nurturing and open space to learn together every day.

It is a privilege to come to Wandin North Primary School and teach in a dynamic work environment. I have taught here since 2007 and I still love coming each day, striving for each student to reach their full potential. My passion has never eased as I support each student in an engaged and supporting setting. Nurturing my students not only academically but socially and emotionally, as they thrive in a safe and fun environment.

The 5/6 building is a dynamic place to be, and I love the energy that comes with it! I’m passionate about building strong relationships with students and helping every child be their best. Learning in our space is engaging, inclusive, and full of moments to celebrate. My goal is for students to leave with unforgettable memories of their primary years.

Stepping into a 5/6 classroom each day is a joy—there’s nothing quite like watching students light up with curiosity, grow in confidence, and discover new opportunities to shine. Alongside my teaching, I’m also proud to lead our school’s work in “Student Voice, Agency, Leadership, and Wellbeing.” This means I get to support every student across the school to speak up, take ownership of their learning, explore leadership roles, and build positive wellbeing habits. One of the highlights? Helping bring our school podcast to life—where student voices truly take center stage!

Walking into the 5/6 classroom everyday, provides me with an overwhelming sense of joy. Being part of the students’ learning journey, witnessing their growth, resilience, determination and kindness, fills my cup and makes me so proud to be their teacher. Creating an inclusive learning environment, where everyone feels safe, heard and valued, is what I strive to achieve daily, as I believe this aids students to thrive academically and emotionally.

I feel very lucky to have worked at Wandin North Primary School for many years. There is such a warm, inclusive and supportive feel to the school. Having the chance to teach, guide and support both staff and children is such a privilege. I love working at Wandin North Primary School because we have a really fun, supportive and inclusive culture. I enjoy supporting all students in their learning journey and helping them to achieve their personal goals. These are the best teaching moments!

I have worked at Wandin North Primary School since 2008 and feel very passionately that our community is like no other. I have loved teaching every year level over the years but feel that my job teaching HEROES since 2023 is by far my favourite. Each week I get to teach the children how to be HEROES for our planet by teaching them about sustainability, the environment and how to grow their own food. Outside of school I live on a small farm with my family and lots of animals.

I have been a part of the Wandin North Primary School community for over 10 years and enjoy seeing all the students come through the Art room and explore their own creativity! It is a pleasure to work within an environment that supports all students’ learning and wellbeing needs across all curriculum areas. Seeing students share their artworks with a sense of pride and achievement is a highlight.

It’s no secret that I have the most fun job at Wandin North Primary School! I have the pleasure of working with students to enhance their speech sounds, oral language, and literacy skills. Watching their self-confidence grow as their communication improves is incredibly rewarding. Collaborating closely with our dedicated teachers and supportive families, I’m proud to help our amazing kids thrive and reach their full potential.

I’ve been teaching at Wandin North Primary School since 2015, and in recent years, I’ve had the pleasure of teaching Art across all year levels. With a background in Visual Arts, I’m passionate about nurturing creativity and encouraging students to explore their unique perspectives. There’s something magical about watching children express themselves through imagination. I love creating a space where students feel safe to explore—Art gives them a voice, builds confidence, and opens their eyes to the beauty in the world. Being part of that journey is something I truly treasure.

Wandin North Primary School is such an amazing community to be a part of. I love coming to work and helping to provide a safe and supportive environment for all students. Everyday is different and I aim to make all the students I work with feel welcomed, valued and respected within our class. Seeing them succeed in all that they do is a massive achievement.

I am very fortunate to have worked as an ES at Wandin North Primary for over three years, supporting students with specific learning/behaviour/language needs. Working collaboratively alongside the classroom teachers to enable students to participate as active, independent learners in our junior school grades. The kids amaze me every day! Building connections with students I have worked with, watching their self-confidence and resilience develop in our very unique setting, I feel I can be an integral part of our wonderful school community.

I love working at Wandin North Primary School and after being a classroom teacher for many years, I have made the progression to Literacy Intervention, working with individuals and small groups. The highlight of my day is seeing achievement and watching students realise their capabilities as they develop a love of reading and words. It is a pleasure watching learning growth.

I’m so thrilled to be a part of the Wandin North Primary School community as an Education Support teacher. I work closely with our wonderful Grade 1/2 students and I absolutely love being a part of their learning journey helping them grow in confidence and discover their strengths. I also enjoy supporting our dedicated teachers and contributing to the warm, inclusive environment that makes Wandin North such a special place to learn and work. I’m about to begin my Masters of Teaching and am excited to continue building my skills so I can make an even greater difference in the lives of our students.
